Questions this section must answer
- How large is multi-platform delivery usage?
- How often do users compare prices between apps?
- How large are price differences for equivalent purchase intents?
- Who else provides delivery comparison or price intelligence?
- Is the more valuable customer eventually the consumer, merchant, agent developer, or another business?
Current position
No TAM/SAM/SOM numbers should be added until supported by primary or credible secondary sources.
Possible market layers
Consumer
Cross-platform delivery comparison.
Merchant
Competitive price intelligence.
Agent infrastructure
Normalized delivery-market data for software agents.
These are possible expansions, not simultaneous MVP customers.
Landscape (2026)
- iFood is the incumbent. CADE's 2023 settlement limits its exclusivity deals (Tecnoblog).
- 99Food (DiDi) relaunched in 2025, with about 70 cities reported in March 2026.
- Keeta (Meituan) started in Santos in Oct 2025 and in São Paulo in Dec 2025.
- Rappi operates. Uber Eats left restaurant delivery in 2022.
More restaurants listed on more than one app is what makes cross-platform comparison useful. Market-size numbers are still to be sourced. Sources and access paths are in data sources.
