Question this section must prove
Why is comparing a simple delivery purchase unnecessarily fragmented today?
Problem statement
A consumer may need to open multiple delivery applications to answer a simple question:
Where is the best equivalent offer for what I want right now?
Each platform exposes its own catalog, naming conventions, promotions, fees, and logistics. This makes direct comparison difficult even when the underlying products are functionally similar.
Research tracks
- Fragmentation between delivery platforms.
- Product substitutability.
- Difference between displayed item price and effective delivered price.
- Price volatility over time.
- Cost of manual comparison for the user.
Hypothesis
If equivalent offers can be normalized, multiple delivery apps can be treated as one searchable market.
